Cassandra continues to have good and bad times. During her good times, she is able to walk around the McMaster hospital ward she is in with only minimal assistance. She is able to sit outside with her mother Joanne for brief periods of time and enjoys the sunshine. Also during her good times, she recognizes some of the people who come to visit her. When asked to look at someone, she turns and looks at that person.
